Peanut-Butter Shortbread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips, melted

Preparation

Step 1

1.Preheat oven to 300°.
2.In a bowl, combine all ingredients except for chocolate with your fingers until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press mixture into an ungreased 8-inch tart pan lined with parchment paper. With a knife or fork, prick decorative wedges in the dough.
3.Bake for approximately 1 hour, or until very lightly browned. While shortbread is still warm, remove tart rim and cut into wedges. Let shortbread cool completely. Dip or drizzle each wedge in melted chocolate
