Ingredients

  • 5 medium Gala apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 c. fresh (or frozen) blueberries
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • Juice and zest of one orange
  • 1 T. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/3 c. 100% orange juice

Preparation

Step 1

Combine fruit, juice and zest of orange, lemon juice, pumpkin pie spice, and nuts. Place in a 9” pie plate and pour orange juice over the fruit. Bake at 350ºF for 40 minutes or until apples are softened but still firm.
