Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 2 c. chopped onion - 2 large onions
- 1 c. chopped green sweet pepper
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 15-16 oz. cans beans, rinsed & drained
- 2 14.5 oz. cans diced tomatos, undrained
- 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

Step 1
Cook beef, onion, pepper & garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender; drain fat. Stir in beans, undrained tomoatoes, tomato sauce, water, chili powder and pepper.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes stirring occasionally. If desired, top with cheese and sour cream.
