Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 unsweetened baking chocolate squares
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Melt the butter and chocolate together over low heat.  Mix together the sugar, cocoa, and salt.  Add to chocolate mixture.  Mix together until smooth.  Add cream slowly and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat immediately and beat in vanilla.
