Enza's Chocolate Raspberry Thumbprints

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4tsp salt
- 4 squares Bakers unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 package softened cream cheese
- 1 1/4 cups sugar divided
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup raspberry preserves

Preparation
Step 1
Heat over to 375
Mix flour, baking soda and salt, set aside
Microwave chocolate and butter in a large bowl on high for 2 minutes. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. whisk in cream cheese. Add 1 cup sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix well.
Stir in flour mix.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Roll into 1 inch balls. Coat with remaining sugar. Place 2 inched apart on a baking sheet. Press thumb in center of each ball. Fill with 1/4tsp preserved. Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on baking sheet then transfer to a wire rack. Cool completely.
