Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Ingredients

• Sift:
• mix enough to blend
• 1 lb butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs well beaten
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 tsp vanilla.
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup walnuts chopped
• 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

add dry ingredients to creamed miter Alternate with sour cream which has been mixed with vanilla. Mix to blend.
Turn 1/2 cake batter into greased 9 inch tube pan. Sprinkle 1/2 sugar nut mixture over this. Pour in rest of batter Top with remaining sugar nut mixture.
Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes
