Ingredients

  • 10oz linguini
  • 1 lb italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 green, yellow or red peppers, cut into thin strips
  • 1 can (14.5oz) contadina recipe ready diced tomatoes with roasted garlic
  • 1 can (6oz) contadina italian paste with italian seasonings.
  • 1/4 cup sliced ripe olives (optional)
  • grated parmesan or romano cheese

Step 1

Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and keep warm. Meanwhile, brown sausage in large skillet, 10 minutes; drain and slice. Add onion and peppers to skillet, cook 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp. Add undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, plus 3/4 cup water, sausages and olives. Simmer 5 minutes. Toss with pasta and serve with cheese
