Chicken Supreme

  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 2 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 large can of mushrooms-undiluted
  • Pepperidge Farm Stuffing cubes

Preparation

Step 1

Clean chicken thoroughly and cook in small amount of water, do not boil. Simmer slowly until tender. To this water add 1 tsp. salt, some celery leaves and one bay leaf if available. Discard skins and remove chicken from bones into bitw size pieces. Add drained mushrooms. Add sour cream to mushroom soup and pour this mixture over the chicken. Add a smidgeon of milk to cans to cleam them out but only that amount. Put into casserole dish and cover with the bread crumbs. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly. You can cover this with foil for the first 15 minutes.
