Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian Sausage or lean gr. beef I mix 1/2 & 1/2, 1st bowl
  • 1 clove minced garlic, Brn meat - spoon off excess fat add to 1st six
  • 1 Tablespoon parsley flakes, ingrediants (Sauce) Simmer 30 Minutes
  • 1 Tablespoon basil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt (omit if useing italian sausage)
  • 1 pound tomatoes
  • 12 ounces tomato paste
  • 10 ounces lasagna noodle, Boil until tender - rinse cold H20
  • 3 cups large curd cottage cheese, 2nd bowl
  • 2 eggs beaten, Blend cottage cheese with other seasonings
  • 2 teaspoons salt (omit if useing italian sausage), place 1/2 noodles-1/2 cottage cheese mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/2 sauce and 1/2 mozzarella - repeat
  • 2 Tablespoons parsley flakes, If double recipe - 3 times the sauce.
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound mozzarella cheese

Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Let stand 10-15 minutes before cutting
