Molasses Grilled Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 3 T molasses
  • 3 T red wine vinegar
  • 3 T Dijon mustard
  • 1 T low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 T EVOO
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 2 T chopped rosemary
  • 1 (2 lb) flank steak trimmed of excess fat

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except steak in a bowl and whisk until well incorporated. Place steak in a zip top bag and cover with the marinade, seal the bag and work marinade into steak. Place in fridge for at least 4 hours. Remove bag from fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking.

Remove steak from marinade allowing excess to drip off, salt and pepper will and cook over medium high heat on grill or in a cast iron skillet until done, about 6 minutes per side. Tent with foil and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
