  • * 1 lb red or Yukon gold potatoes (about 4 medium), cut into 3 slices
  • * 2 tablespoons honey
  • * 1 tablespoon mustard
  • * 2 teaspoons hot sauce

Step 1

Soak 4 wooden, 6-inch skewers in water for 30 minutes. Fit a stockpot with a steamer basket and 1 inch of water. Bring to a boil. Heat grill over high heat. Put potato slices in pot and cover; steam until tender. Whisk honey, mustard and hot sauce in a bowl until smooth. Coat potato slices in the mixture, thread 3 slices onto each skewer and grill until marks appear, about 4 minutes per side.
