Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 5 large cans Italian plum tomaotes or crushed tomatoes (do not drain)
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 pack Italian sausage links
  • 4 cloves fresh minced garlic
  • Oregano (cover tomatoes lightly)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 big carrot
  • 3/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • Meatballs:
  • 2 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 pound pork
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup breadcrumbs (start w/1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Parsley flakes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

For sauce, place all ingredients in a large pot and cook 30 minutes slowly.

For meatballs, mix all ingredients together to form meatballs.

Add meatballs to sauce and simmer until done. Enjoy!
