Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

• 1/2 cup crunchy-style peanut butter
• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon SALT
• 1 package 6 oz chocolate chips

Step 1

Preheat oven 375 degrees

Measure peanut butter, shortening and brown sugar

Beat thoroughly peanut butter shorting sugars egg an vanilla

Stir together flour baking soda and salt

Add to creamed mixture blend well

Fold in chocolate chips

Bake 10-15 minutes

Approx 117 calories and 8 grams of fat
