Ingredients

  • 1 Sheet frozen puff pastry dough, thawed according to package directions
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary, roughly chopped
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1 11oz package fresh goat cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Unroll the pastry dough and set on a work surface. Place cherries in the center of the dough arranging in a 6-inch square. Sprinkle rosemary over the cherries.

2. Place the goat cheese in the center of the cherries, rounded side down.

3. Brush egg over edges of the dough. Bring sides of dough up over cheese to wrap, gently pressing at the overlap to seal. Pinch ends of dough and trim excess dough. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

4. Remove from fridge, let stand 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 375.

5. Bake 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven; let cool 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm.
