Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • Enough sweet potatoes for 3 1/2 cups mashed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Step 1


Bake sweet potatoes at 450° for 1 hour. Scoop potatoes from shells. Combine potatoes, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk, and butter and place in large casserole dish.

Topping:
Combine brown sugar, flour, butter and pecans. Place on top of potatoes in dish. Cover casserole and bake in low oven for 1 hour. Uncover for last 10 minutes of baking.
