Standing Rib Roast

Ingredients

  • 7 - 8 lbs. rib roast

Preparation

Step 1

Roast in 450 degrees oven for 15 - 20 minutes. Then roast at 325 degrees for 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 hours so temp reaches 125 - 135 degrees for rare.

Let stand for 15 - 20 minutes before serving, to lock in the juices.
