Bacon cheese Sourdough Bread

Ingredients
- 1 lb loaf of sourdough bread
- 3 tbsp. Margarine or butter softened
- 6 oz. Or 1 1/2 c. Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon, crispy, cooked, drained crumbled
- 2 tbsp. Chopped fresh parsley

Preparation
Step 1
Heat grill. Cut loaf into inch slices. Lightly spread one side of each slice of bread with margarine. Place margarine side down on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle cheese, bacon and parsley evenly on bread slice.
When ready to BBQ, place slices margarine side down, directly on gas grill over medium high. Cook 4-6 minutes.
Oven directions
Heat oven to 425. Prepare bread on cookie sheet as directed. Place on lowest oven rack. Bake 8-10 minutes or until bottom of bread is toasted and cheese is warm.
