Veggies: Bacon Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg brussel sprouts
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 4 pieces of bacon
  • Butter
  • 1 cup bread crumbs, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Cut stems off brussel sprouts- if large, cut in quarters, if small 1/2 them.

Place sprouts in boiling chicken broth for 10-12 minutes. Drain.

Cut up bacon and fry. Remove bacon. Add butter, heat, saute sprouts until crunchy. Add bacon.

Optional:
Put in casserole dish sprinkle with bread crumbs add butter. Bake 350F for 15-20 minutes
