Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup 2% milk
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Measure flour, baking powder and salt into bowl.
Cut in shortening until mixture looks like meal.
Stir in milk.
Round up dough on a lightly floured board. Knead lightly 20 to 25 times (1/2 minute). Roll to 1 inch thick. Cut with a floured biscuit cutter.
Makes 12 biscuits.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes
Convection bake 425 degrees for 8 minutes.
