Ingredients
- 2 pounds Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 1 Yellow Onion
- 3 Cloves of Fresh Garlic
- 4 Stalks of Celery
- 2 Cans Red Kidney Beans
- 1 Can Whole Tomatoes
- 2 Large Cans of Tomato Sauce
- 5 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon jalapeno pepper, diced
Preparation
Step 1
Chop green pepper, onion, garlic and celery. Cook hamburger in a skillet, drain grease.
Mix in veggies and cook for 5 minutes. Pour meat and veggies into a sauce pan.
Add beans with half the juice, tomato sauce and can of whole tomatoes with juice. Mix in chili powder, salt, pepper and jalapeno.
Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for at least 3 hours.
