Ingredients
- Dough:
- 8 cups flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups lukewarm milk
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 4 - 5 eggs
- 1 cake yeast
- Filling:
- 1/2 lb. ground poppyseed
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 Tbs. butter

Preparation
Step 1
Put flour, salt and sugar in a bowl. Make a well and add milk and the rest of the ingredients. Knead until the dough is soft and smooth. Cover and put aside to rise. Roll out to a rectangle of about 1/4 inch thickness. Combine ingredients for filling and mix to the right consistency and spread over dough. Roll and bake at 350 for 35 - 40 minutes.
