Wild Rice Salad with Peas

Ingredients

  • 1 (6.2 oz) package Uncle Ben's long-grain and wild rice mix, fast cooking
  • 1 (10 oz) frozen green peas, thawed
  • 2/3 C. chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 C. sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1/3 C. teriyaki sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Cook rice mix according to package directions, omitting seasoning packet and fat. Reserve seasoning packet for another use.

Combine rice mix, green peas, chopped bell pepper, toasted almonds, and teriyaki sauce in a large bowl. Stir well, and let cool. Serve at room temperature.
