Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tbs. dried basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tbs. lemon juice
- 2 tbs. olive oil
- 2 bone-in chicken breasts
Preparation
Step 1
In shallow dish or pan, mix garlic, basil, salt and pepper, lemon juice and 1 tbs. of the oil. Coat the chicken with garlic-basil mixture.
In 10" skillet, heat remaining tbs. oil over medium heat. Add chicken; cook about 5 minutes on each side or until browned.
Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes or until juice of chicken is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (170 degrees).
Serve with mixed vegetables and breadsticks.
