Ingredients
- 1 cup finely chopped pepperoni (3-1/2 oz)
- 1 cup shredded Mozarella or Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
- 1/2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls (8 oz each)
Preparation
Step 1
Open both cans of the crescent dinner rolls and separate the dough into 8 rectangles. Firmly press the performations to seal.
Spread about 1/4 cup of the pepperoni mixture on each rectangle. Starting at the shorter side, roll up each rectangle and seal. Cut each into 6 pieces. Place each piece cut side down on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 degree preheated oven 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm. Refrigerate any leftovers.
These appetizers are great served with your favorite marinara dipping sauce.
To Make Ahead: Prepare, cover and refrigerate up to 2 hours; then bake as directed. To reheat, wrap in foil. Heat at 350 degrees 10-12 minutes.
