Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. Monteray Jack Cheese
- 1/2 lb. Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 lb. pork sausage
- 1 1/2 cup Bisquick
- 1 egg
- 1 pck pork flavored Shake n Bake
- 20 whole jalepeno peppers
Preparation
Step 1
May use fresh, bottled or canned whole peppers. Cut in half lengthwise and scrape seeds out. Wear gloves while doing this.
Mix Bisquick, raw sausage, and cheddar cheese. Stuff each pepper with Monteray Jack Cheese and put halves back together again. Grab a handful of Bisquick mixture and wrap around peppers in the shape of an elongated egg. Cover pepper well. Dip armadillo egg in beaten egg and roll in Shake and Bake. Bake on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
