Mushrooms- Stuffed

Ingredients

  • ● 1 lb. medium-sized mushroooms
  • ● 3 tbsp butter, divided
  • ● 1/4 cup chopped onion or onion flakes
  • ● 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • ● 1/2 tsp salt
  • ● 1/4 tsp tumeric
  • ● 1/4 tsp pepper
  • ● 1/2 tsp thyme
  • * Mozzarella Cheese for topping

Preparation

Step 1

1.Heat oven 350℉
2.Wash mushrooms and remove stems. Chop stems to make 1/3 cups.
3. Melt butter in skillet, saute mushroom stems, green peppers and onion. Remove from heat, stir in all but caps.
4. Place 1 tbsp. butter in shallow baking dish. Fill caps and put in oven.
5. Bake 15 minutes.
6. Broil 2 minutes 3-4 min away from heat.

Put mozzarella cheese on top and melt it.
