MEXICAN WEDDING COOKIES

Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and salt until fluffy. Stir in the flour until well blended. Chill for 30 min. Shape into balls, about 1" and place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375* for 12-15 minutes. Remove to rack and sift heavily with powdered sugar. Cool and store in airtight container. Before serving if needed sift with powdered sugar again.
