Mimi's Maple Mousse

Ingredients

  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Simmer maple syrup on stove. Place 4 egg yolks in double boiler. Once syrup is simmering, remove from heat. Add syrup to eggs, little at a time. Stir until thick. Refridgerate mixture for 15 minutes. Whip cream to peaks. Add cooled mixture (fold in) and freeze overnight.
