Chicken Breast in Creamy Mushroom Sauce

  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushroom
  • 2 Tablespoons finely sliced green onions and stems
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon chicken soup base
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • 4 frozen unbreaded chicken breast patties



Step 1

Glass baking dish. Microwave 2 Tbsp butter, mushrooms and green onions for 3 to 4 minutes. Stip halfway thru cooking time. Add milk, cream cheese, chicken soup base, salt and pepper. Cook 2 minutes. Stir until smooth, and cook 1 minute. Set aside. In another glass dish, microwave chicken breast filets and remaining butter on high for 6 to 8 minutes, or until miat is no longer pink. Spoon mushroom sauce over the chiken breast and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
