Hungarian Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1/4 LB. Sweet Butter
  • 1 Bar (4 oz) German Sweet Chocolate
  • 3 Heaping Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. In top of double broiler, place butter and chocolate bar. Let Melt. Remove from heat.
2. Beat in one-at-a-time, 3 tablespon of powdered sugard
3. Beat in 2 eggs, one-at-a-time
Place mix into refrigerator and let cool (2 hours)
4. Beat in vanilla
Return to refrigerator and let cool (1 hour or overnight)
5. Remove Angel Food Cake from PAN
6. Beat Frosting to spreading consistency
7. Frost Cake with thin layer of chocolate on top/sides of cake
8. Keep Cake in Refrigerator until ready to cut and sever.
