Ingredients
- 2 tsp tamarind paste
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp salt

Step 1
Blend all ingredients to a smooth puree. Add salt and chili powder as desired and mix well. Add brown sugar or lemon juice as desired to balance the sweet and sour taste.
