Ingredients
- 1 c (2 sticks) Grade AA unsalted butter at room temp
- 1/2 c powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
In a separate bowl whisk the flour w/ the salt & set aside.
Cream butter for abt 1 minute. Add sugar & beat until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Gently stir in flour mistrure until just incorporated. Flatten dough into a disk, wrap in plastic & chill for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line two baking sheets w/ parchment paper. On lightly floured surface roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into rounds or other shape. Place on prepared baking sheets & place in refridgerator for abt 15 minutes. Bake for 8- 10 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Cool on wire rack.
