Caramel Puff Corn

Ingredients

  • 8 oz bag puffed corn
  • 1 C. butter (do not substitue)
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Place puff corn in large roaster pan. In sauce pan bring butter, sugar & corn syrup to a boil then cook 2 minutes. Add baking soda-this will cause the mixture to foam. Stif well, remove from heat. Pour over puff corn in roaster pan and coat well. Bake 250 for 45 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and pour over wax paper to cool completely. Store in air tight container
