Classic Lasagna

Ingredients
- o 3 cups ricotta cheese
- o 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- o 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- o 2 eggs
- o 1 lb. ground beef
- o 1 jar (48 ounces) Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce
- o 12 cooked lasagna noodles

Directions
Mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and eggs and set aside.
In 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, cook beef until browned, stirring to separate meat. Pour off fat. Stir in Prego® sauce.
In each of two 2-quart shallow baking dishes layer 1 cup Prego® mixture. Top each with 2 lasagna noodles and about 1 1/4 cups cheese mixture. Repeat layers. Top with remaining 2 lasagna noodles, remaining Prego® mixture and Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 400°F. for 30 min. or until hot. Let stand 10 min.
TIP: To freeze, prepare lasagna but do not bake. Cover tightly with foil and freeze. Bake frozen lasagna uncovered at 350°F. for 1 hour 15 min. or until hot. Or, refrigerate 24 hours to thaw. Bake thawed lasagna uncovered at 350°F. for 50 min. or until hot. Let stand 10 min.
