Spinach Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 container (16 ounces) sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 package vegetable soup dip and recipe mix (I like Knorr)
  • 1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

In medium bowl, combine all ingredients; chill at least 2 hours to blend flavors.

Stir before serving. Serve with your favorite dippers.


Yogurt Spinach Dip: Substitute 1 container (16 ounces) plain lowfat yogurt for sour cream.

Spinach and Cheese Dip: Add 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese with spinach.
