Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 small ripe banana
  • 1 1/3 Cup canned no-sugar-added coconut milk
  • 4 Ounce rum
  • 3 Teaspoon granular sugar substitute (Truvia)
  • 8 ice cubes

Preparation

Step 1

Use either spiced or coconut rum for added flavor in this recipe. Be sure to check online to be sure there is no added sugar in your flavored rum as most manufacturers do not include a nutritional label. This may be made nonalcoholic by omitting the rum and replacing with 1/2 tsp rum extract.


1.Add the banana, coconut milk, rum, granular sugar substitute (if using sucralose use 2 tsp and add 1g NC to the total) and ice to a blender.
2.Blend on high until ice is thoroughly crushed.
3.Pour into a martini glass and sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg and or cinnamon if desired.
