  • 6 qt. cucumbers slices
  • 1 qt. onions
  • 4 green peppers
  • Make brine: 9 cups water
  • 1 cup salt
  • Let brine stand 3 hours.
  • Drain
  • Add: 2 1/2 pints vinegar
  • 3 lbs. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. turmeric
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
