Ingredients
- 1 cup – onion
- 1 can – diced stewed tomatoes
- 1 cup – celery
- 1 cup -- water
- 2 -- green peppers
- 1 tsp. -- salt
- 2 -- garlic cloves
- 1/8 tsp. -- pepper
- ¼ cup – butter
- 1/8 tsp. – cayenne pepper
- 2 bay leaves—whole
- 1 lb – shrimp
- 3 cups – cooked rice
- 5 strips of fried bacon

Step 1
Sautee’ vegetables first in butter and garlic, add remaining ingredients, and boil for 10 minutes.
Then, put the shrimp in last.
Boil another 6 minutes or until shrimp is pink.
