Spoon Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups lukewarm water
  • 4 cups self-rising flour

Preparation

Step 1

Mix yeast and wet ingredients together.

Add flour.

Pour into 3-qt. jars or other airtight containers. Do not fill jars full, it needs room to rise.

To bake, put 2 spoonsful in well-greased muffin tins. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
