Chocolate Pie--Microwave Version

Mom's Recipe using microwave

Ingredients

• Mix together and add to milk:
• Use large bowl.
• Microwave on high until warm....1 1/2 cups MILK
• 1 1/2 cups SUGAR
• 4 Tbsp FLOUR
• 4 Tbsp COCOA
• 1/8 tsp SALT
• Microwave 5 minutes...
• Blend together...3 EGG YOLKS well beaten 1/2 cup MILK
• 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix well and pour into milk mixture.
Cook for 1 minute intervals until custard is thick
stirring between each minute of cooking
then STIR IN....tsp of vanilla

Pour into PASTRY SHELL top with Meringue

COCONUT: Stir 1 can ANGEL FLAKE COCONUT into custard
mixture.
