Ingredients
- 3 cups pecan pieces, divided
- 1/4 Cup sugar
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- 1 pkg craft caramels
- 2/3 cup whipping cream, divided
- 1 pkg (8 squares) semi sweet baking chololate
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Place 2 cups pecans in food processor. Cover. Process, pulsing, until finely ground. Mix with sugar and butter. Press into 9 inch pie pan. Bake 12 minutes.
Microwave caramels and 1/3 cup of the whipping cream in bowl on high until caramels are melted, stirring after each minute. Pour onto crust. Chop remaining 1 cup pecans. Sprinkle over pie.
Place chocolate, remaining whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla in saucepan: Stir and cook over low heat until chocolate is melted. Pour over pie, spread gently. Refrigerate at least 2 hrs.
