Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 lbs lean hamburger
- 2T olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 or 2 large onions, diced
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 Bay leaf (2 if small)
- Pepper to taste
- 1 can (small) tomato paste
- 2 (14 ½ oz) cans diced tomatoes
- 2- 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 2T sugar
- 2T fresh grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 t salt

Preparation
Step 1
Brown hamburger in olive oil; add onion and garlic,
cook until tender. Add remainder of ingredients and
simmer covered, in heavy pot all day.
