Ingredients
- ¾ c butter (better) or Margarine
- 3 c sugar
- 1-5 fl oz can evaporated milk
- 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 7 oz jar Marshmallow crème
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 c chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, margarine and milk in a heavy 2-3 qt saucepan, bring to full boil. Stir constantly. Continue boiling 4 minutes over medium heat or until candy thermometer reads 234 degrees, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients, mix until well blended. Poor or drop onto cookie sheet to cool.
