Ingredients
- 4 - 1 oz. Squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 C frozen orange juice - melted
- 1/2 C butter
- 2 1/2 C sugar
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t orange extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 C flour
- 1/2 C milk
- 1 C chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Grease and flour (cocoa) bundt pan. Put chocolate and o.j. in microwave for one minute. Stir. Nuke one more minute. Combine butter, sugar. Mix Add baking powder, salt and orange extract. Add eggs.
Add half of the flour. Mix in milk and add the rest of the flour. When chocolate is cool, add. Mix thoroughly. Add nuts.
Let batter rest several minutes and pour into bundt pan.
Bake for 60 - 70 minutes. Let cool for 25 minutes. Loosen edges and remove from pan. Let cool completely and glaze.
GLAZE
1 C chocolate chips
1/3 C cream
1 t vanilla
Combine in microwave safe bowl. Nuke for 1 minute. Add more cream if necessary. Drizzle hot glaze over cake.
