Homemade Caramel Dip

This is recipe that I received from another mother who has a student in the Southwest Iowa Honor Marching Band. It is the BEST caramel dip recipe that I have tasted and it is very good with fresh apples.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (Do NOT substitute!)
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
In a two quart saucepan, melt the butter over LOW heat. Add the brown sugar, corn syrup, and condensed milk; Stir to combine. Increase the heat to MEDIUM and stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil. Remove the sauce from the heat and whisk in the vanilla and cinnamon. Serve hot over fresh apples.
