Salad Taco Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 env Taco seasoning
  • 1 can Kidney beans, rinsed & dried
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 10 c. torn romains
  • 2 med tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/3 c. chopped onions
  • 2 c. (8 oz) shredded chedder

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, cook beef over med. heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in taco seasoning, beans and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, simmer,uncovered 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, cool 10 minutes.

In large bowl, combine romaine, tomatoes, onion & cheese. Stir in meat mixture. Drizzle with salad dressing & toss. Sprinkle with chips.

Serve immediately with sour cream & guacamole, if desired.
