Pepperjack Cheese Burgers W/ Jalapeno Cumin Sauce

Ingredients

• 2-3 large fresh jalapenos, chopped
• ½ C. + 3 T. chopped cilantro
• 3 large garlic cloves
• 2 T. limejuice
• 2 T. water
• 1-tsp ground cumin
• Pinch salt
• 1 ½ lbs. Ground round
• 4 oz. shredded pepperjack cheese (1 C.)

Preparation

Step 1

1.Combine all ingredients through salt (except save 3 T. cilantro and ½ tsp cumin) in a blender and puree

2.In a bowl, knead sirloin with cheese and 3 T. cilantro, ½ tsp. cumin. Shape into patties. Season with salt and pepper

Brush buns with olive oil

Spray grill due to cheese in burgers

After burgers are grilled grill cut sides of buns for 1 min.
