  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp cinnamon
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans (12 oz) cans buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar, cinnamon and cream cheese together in a small bowl. Flatten out one piece of biscuit dough and place a small spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center. Wrap the edges of the dough around the cream cheese mixture, making a pouch. Repeat with remaining dough. Melt butter and brown sugar together, stirring until smooth. Sprinkle nuts in bottom of a greased angel food cake pan. Arrange biscuit pouches in pan so they overlap. Pour brown sugar mixture over dough. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool 5 minutes in pan, then invert onto serving plate.
