Ingredients
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 1/2 C Onion, diced
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 8oz Tomato Sauce
- 1/2 C Water
- 1 C Diced Tomatoes, fresh or canned - if canned, then drain
- 1 Tbl Yellow Mustard
- 2 Tbl Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 tsp Salt (optional)
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 6 Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat for approximately 5 minutes. Drain fat.
2. Add onions and cook 3 minutes or until onions begin to turn clear. Add garlic and cook 1 more minute.
3. Add remaining ingredients except buns and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Serve on whole wheat buns
