Fudge Nut Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 oz. chocolate
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups nuts
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar and Crisco. Add eggs. Add dry ingredients. Add nuts and vanilla last. Bake at 275 degrees for 30 minutes. Place marshmallows on top and place back in oven until melted. Frost while hot.

Frosting:
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. cocoa
5 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar

Heat butter and cocoa. Add milk. Blend smooth with sugar. Spread over brownies.
